One hell of a home projct there...
My wife loves dragons and she would die if I put something like this in the yard...If we had a yard that is.
Bad thing about an appartment..>sigh

I can't imagine anyone that wouldn't enjoy this, but I guess I'm pretty optimistic. There's probably some old misanthrope that would dislike it just cause it makes other people happy.

First let me thank everyone who takes a look at this and loves it!! I Love her too and thats why I just had to make her!

As to her construction...

Not fiberglass, but a mix of house paint, super fine saw dust, and glue. Painted over with even more house paint and coated with spar varnish... (Welded steel armature under all that. Took 6 days to do just that part, then add tin foil)

I am particularly proud of the face, as that was one of the parts I got to do as the head sculptor on the project. I had to do head, upper neck, and feet as well as most of the fins on her back so that she looked like something of mine instead of random elements thrown together.

All in all, she is the largest piece I have ever had the joy of owning, but she is not going to stay that way! I want a 20 foot dragon next, laying down in the lawn reading a book or some such.. heh heh... its good to be a sculptor!

I LOVE her head and expression, so much detail and realism (obviously if dragons were real :P) yet a gentle and non-reptillian expression ^^ beautiful job

Whimpers, very, very Enchanting. possibly a 20ft one aswell awesome. Evan reading a book would make a nice House Gaurdian.
