Mike Werner was set on his career path and no thing or person would stand in his way. He was very competitive, especially when in came to GPA. He was always second to Barricade’s alter ego. An experiment he was running entered into a runaway exothermic reaction, causing an explosion of the material all over him. He tried to wash in a biohazard shower, but the water caused another unforeseen chemical reaction that transformed him into a gelatinous blob. His powers allow him to be a shape shifter, though he can’t hold a single form for more than an hour.
