So now I really like how this turned out. Now only is the background better, but also Topaz and Nicholas look a bit better by adding in more accurate body figures. Even if only a bit of them can be seen.

Out on the sea the families came out to enjoy the environment. "It's so peaceful," Ruby sighed with Stanley's arm around her.
"Yeah," he agreed. Rachel was looking after her brother. Granite and Onyx had an eye on Alexander and Victoria who were both pretending to be sailers with grins.
"How much farther till we get there mate?" Paul asked Nicholas who was at the head with Topaz by his side.
"Should only be half an hour," the long haired male answered. "Let's just hope we don't run into any trouble before we get there."
"Shouldn't you like not say something like that?" his girl asked. "You might jinx us."
"Luckily I know how to counteract bad luck."
The ship was soon docked by the beach of Dagger Isle. Nicholas and Topaz were off to find it and would let the others know. All the vixens were back in their regular spy outfits. "Okay, I've got a hand on this, follow me," the vulpine said to her.
However things were a bit complicated because there were pirates as well. "Seems someone else is here as well," the vixen pointed out.
"Let's be cool about this," her guy replied.
The two first started by a statue and from there it was a matter of following the clues until the foxes found the spot. They quickly contacted their group, Dimitri, and Penelope to come on over. The treasure was soon dug up with them standing around it. "Well Aqua and Dimitri, it's your loot," said Nicholas. "I think both of you should have the honors."
"I open with joy," stated the mink. "You Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canine Group is a tight groove." He and the vixen had it opened in a flash. "Van Gogh Bull's-eye! The primo diving gear to accentuate my deep down diving style!"
The equipment both had guns to be used underwater and some kind of flippers with breathing gear. "Just like he told me!" Aqua actually squealed. This was the happiest the Canines and Vixens had since her not counting the time when Desmond asked her out.
"It's so intricate," Penelope said. "Both of your grandfathers were artist. I've never seen such fine craftsmanship."
"He had the juice. Check it. The gear even matches my suit!"
"Looks like Aqua's is also in the color of her namesake," Desmond pointed out.
"What else is in this chest?" Sapphire asked.
"Aye, let's get a good look!" went a familiar voice. Everyone whipped around to see LeFwee had his sword at Penelope's throat. Some other crew members were with the pirate. Now up and close it showed it was a male baboon. "Avast Lubbers! Didn't think ye could steal from the smarts male on the Seven Seas and not taste the repercussions! Har, har, har! I might have been late for the opening of the chest… but I'm just on time for the stealing of the gold!"
Victoria and Rachel who had come on this shrank back behind their parent's legs in fear. "Let Penelope go, we can work out a deal," Nicholas snarled.
"Penelope be the lass's name… purdy as a sonnet. And what a rich sweet scent from the wench's hair. Although those other vixens be the same as well. I take what I can get."
"Let's take this bastard down!" Jade growled and stepped forward with her katana half drawn. The enemy males let out a laugh at her since it was a female.
"No bro; she'll be a goner!" Dimitri insisted.
"He's right!" Topaz said. "That dude's a killer!"
"Aye, ye summed me up with but a word lassie… killer!" LeFwee responded. "Away with ye, back to your ship. This gold is mine now or her death is yours… take yer choice."
"Guys, we don't have any options here," Sapphire replied through a growl. "Everyone back to the ship."
"You can't just abandon me!" Penelope cried.
"Do what he says, and stay alive," Nicholas told her. "We will save you."
"I.. I trust you."
"And I trust ya still plan on luggin' back to your ship," LeFwee commented. "Away with ye, NOW!"

The Canine, Vixens, and Dimitri quickly were back on their vessel and at a meeting. "Clearly, the only thing we need to do right now is saving our friend and teammate Penelope," Nicholas began. "LeFwee's ship, the Death Head, has sailed back to Blood Bath Bay with her on board as captive. Things… could be better."
"There's no way we'll be able to sneak back into the harbor," Desmond continued. "Even the backside of the island is no good due to the reefs. To put it in plainly, we're in for a fight. LeFwee's an intelligent guy, and we'll need to do everything in our power to stack the odds to our side."
"First me and Dimitri will put our new diving gear to use by salvaging some weapons from a nearby ship wreck," Aquamarine concluded. "We'll need the extra firepower to deal any damage to the Death's Head. It will also come in handy for destroying the Red Dog Sea Clan. They're a fleet of mercenaries on LeFwee's boats. We need to surprise them now while they're in small groups. If they attacked as one, we wouldn't make it out of there alive. And then there's also something I need help with building. Trust me, it'll help."

It was quick work for the mink and vixen to get those weapons as well as taking our the mercenaries. The final thing was making a pretend sea monster which wasn't hard at all. With that ready, it was time for the operation called Reverse Double-Cross. The idea was freeing Penelope who was being held at either the skull keep at the bay area or on LeFwee's ship. The first part was to engage the enemy vessel and then have Nicholas surrender to get an audience with her captain. He would then trick the primate into revealing where Penelope was.
The Canine's and Vixen's ship was soon sailing towards the Death's Hand. Shale spotted the enemy ahead. "Get ready for battle!" Sapphire called.
"It's gonna be tight sailing in here Saph," Bill told the Arctic fox who was at the wheel. "Someone needs to keep an eye on the rocks here!"
The children and families got below as the two ships sailed to battle. The canon balls were flying between the two. In the end LeFwee's ship took the most damage and Nicholas went on board to find the baboon waiting for him. "Really Russo, a bad choice boarding a ship packed with over a hundred pirates…" the primate stated. He knew the vulpine by reputation alright. "Sure your sword is up to the task of slicing all our skulls?"
"I don't know about all of you, but yours I'm sure it can manage," the vulpine shot back.
"Restrain this fox, and keep your distance from the enemy vessel. This smells of lubber trickery. Take heart boys, been a while since we witnessed a good plan walkin'."
Topaz could see her boyfriend taken to that part and place one paw to her mouth in fear. She could see the two males going back and forth with their talking and arguing. In a bit the male jumped over the plank and landed into the same jolly borate used before. The vixen breathed a sigh of relief and watched the long haired vulpine and Kane row back to the skull keep since the enemy had revealed their team mate was there.
Soon the two males had reached the dock. "Stay here and keep the boat safe," said Nicholas. "We'll need it for the escape."
The vulpine ran for the keep but not without having to outrun some enemy pirates. He made it to the target just fine and got to the roof. "Penelope! That you?" he stated when seeing the mouse's head. "It's time for a rescue!" Nicholas then looked and saw it was a dummy with a bomb just seconds from blowing. "This LeFwee guy's good."
Out at sea the enemy saw the explosion. "Ha-ha, the landlubber fell for it hook line and sinker," Lefwee said with a grin. "Thinks he can out maneuver the smartest male of the Seven Seas? Not hardly!"
He then gave the orders to go after the Canines and Vixen's ship only to see it was heading to open water. The Death's Hand gave chase. The group on board the other ship knew Nicholas was safe as he had contacted them. The enemy then fired causing most of the masts on the ship to be lost. Sapphire came up to see LeFwee with a smug look. "Avast there! Afraid ye didn't quite make it out of the harbor. Prepare to surrender yer vessel."
"Not a chance," the vixen growled. "NOW!"
The fake sea monster came out made of wood and mechanical limbs. To the pirates it was real though and they panicked. The Arctic fox went on board the Death's Head to get at Penelope. The rest of the group fired at the enemy, taking out those foolish enough to stand still. The female soon had Penelope out of the hull who was now wearing a pirate outfit. LeFwee, who had taken cover came out again behind the mouse. "Call off your attack or the girl gets it!" he spat.
"Time to deal with you," Sapphire commented.
"Aye, that you have. Set me up ta think I'd out smarted ya, then fooled me into the deep water with your tricks. I tip me hat to ye. Yer group is the cleverest one I've had the pleasure of beatin'."
"You like getting this honey?" Topaz asked in her communicator to her boyfriend.
"Loud and clear babe," came the reply. The long haired vulpine came down with his katana at the ready. "Now LeFwee, get ready for a duel!"
"My pleasure!" the baboon replied and he jumped up toward the top of the mast, with the vulpine right behind.
