It's Not So Cold in Coldharbour
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
It’s done! It’s taken me months to get around to it, but I got to it– worked on it! And now it’s finished just in time for Halloween (in Australia)!
For those who don’t know, a while back I had an idea pop into my brain. That idea became a really basic sketch that just showed me how the artwork was composed, then that sketch just sat in my Creative Cloud for a few months while I worked on a lot of other things. But this last week or so: I picked the work up in Clip Studio Paint, repeated a process of putting down flats in shapes and shading, and then learning how to do armour detailing thanks to a tutorial by Foervraengd. The result is as you see above!
The work itself depicts my characters from Elder Scrolls Online: Bloodies-His-Face, my Argonian Dragon Knight; and Stops-His-Heart, my Argonian Nightblade. There is a little story behind this piece that I'll post seperately, but essentially this work depicts the emotional precipice Bloodies stands upon where he chooses between his oath taken to fight against Daedra, undead and other monsters, or his lover Stops who has been turned by vampirism.
