Digging through my archives I rediscovered a folder of digital camera images from the American Southwest. Rather than let them gather electronic dust I'm posting some of the better ones here. These were made in 2008 with then state of the art digital camera gear. How the cameras have changed and improved since then!

This is a mountainside somewhere off a Colorado highway. What I felt was most appealing in this image was the steep mountainside, the green of the pines, the bare aspens and the highly reflective snowfall. Love those shadows on snow.
