This week I was happy to spend some time again on a more detailed piece. It's always rewarding to finish one of those. I did take an extra step in the painting process where I first rendered the scene roughly in greyscale to get the values right. Whenever I do this, it seems to benefit the final product, so I should probably do it more often. In this case I am very happy with the finished work.
