Yeah, I did. my father worked in a lab, and all his friends were sports car guys. Made my first trip to the road race track in 1960. Healeys, MGs Triumphs, Mini, Jag. Then I went to college, and my college town was full of sports cars- Italian and German, too.

I am jealous, i plan on restoring a classic british roadster after i finish my Datsun 260Z.

I've got two roadsters in my garage; a 1992 Sunburst Miata, heavily modified, and a stock blue I just bought and restored. I missed the goodness of the stock Miata, so I redid one as a winter beater.

And a Jag. The kitty is my driver. I LOVE Z cars. One of the scariest rides of my life was in an SCCA A/MP 240Z. If I ever found the right Z, I'd be hard pressed to turn it down. I know where there is a GORGEOUS 1972, but they want 18k, and I think that's crazy money for a Z.

Nice garage, I want to build a spec miata for road racing since its the most resonable race series out there. Yeah i agree 18K is alot for a Z unless its a fully restored one (i wonder if its one the ones nissan restored and sold at dealers to celebrate the return of the Z).

It's not quite concours level, but could be a Nissan car. Got all the correct hoses, filters, clamps and that sort of thing. Very pretty car, but not perfect.
I'd love to do a Spec Miata, but I guess I'll have to wait until I retire. Used to do open track days, until I totaled a Miata at Pocono.

Yeah, it was. I loved that car. But I got my present yellow to replace it. And there was the 911 Carrera sport, the Corvette, fourteen BMWs, the favorite of which was the 2002. Life is so short, when there are so many cars to drive.

Around where i live almost no one has heard of either one, which is odd considering that there was a replica builder here ( i worked for them for awhile).
