Heh, we get sort of a strange mix of "styles" around here, particularly down in Columbia (about 33 miles south of me). :)

Being in va, which is dab in the middle between north and south, we've got a weird cluster of everything. :P Not Columbia as in crack Columbia I assume? O.o

Heh, Columbia, MO -- where the main University of Missouri campus is located (there is also Columbia College and Stevens College there, too). Big college town -- MU adds somewhere around 20-30 thousand to the population of the city of Columbia. It's also one of the more "liberal" cities in MO.

I think the "population center" of the U.S. is still here in Missouri somewhere.

Ohhh. Well I like liberal areas :P I generally fit in there much better. Sadly I live in an overly conservative area where its harder to find people to mesh with. And I don't actually know that much about Missouri, the only other stars I've spent time in are NC, sc, md, ny, ca, and fl. I think thats it o.o here in a couple weeks i have to go to parris island for my cousins graduation from basic training though :o

I've been to 42 out of the 50 states (plus several countries), so the only ones I haven't been in so far are: AK, CT, DE, ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT.

I'll refrain from making any Marine jokes...I'm sure he'll hear enough of them by the sailors he'll have to deal with eventually. ;) Be sure to tell him that there are three people to [b]never[/b] piss off: the cooks, the disbursing clerks, and the corpsmen; the cooks will give you the burned (or raw) portions as they see fit, the disbursing clerks might "accidentally" lose your pay records, and the corpsmen will "accidentally" lose your shot records (requiring you to have to get [i]all[/i] them [i]again[/i] (getting 14 shots is definitely [i]not[/i] fun!).

I'l be sure to inform him :P I think I left out Illinois and west Virginia o.o and I guess you could count Indiana :P we ate at.a cracker barrel there. The windmills there are so amazing. But that was a crazy drive. It was to a comicon in Chicago and we had foamboard tied.to the top of a minivan driving an 11hr drive in 20 hrs, sleeping at a walmart, and being like a giant kite in some of.the windiest states :) it was an adbenture though.
