Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
The engine consisted of 1 cylinder and produced a whopping 12 Horsepower. To give you an idea of size, the cylinder was much larger than my thigh. The transmillsion can be seen on the right.

I am not enough of an expert on early autos and roads to know, but AAA came about in large part to help people drive longer distances on holiday. They were founded in 1902, the year before this trip. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Automobile_Association#History) I am sure that there were few good roads between SF and NYC. They still managed to leave SF on June 20 and reach NYC on August 21. That was 3200 miles at an average speed of 22 mph, according to the sign. that sounds like a fantastic feat, given lack of even US highways.
