How do I accomplish this?

Before the text, enclose "url=<>" (ignoring the quotes and substituting the angle brackets with a web address) in square brackets, type the text the link will appear as and then enclose "/url" (again ignoring the quotes) in another pair of square brackets.

This site uses similar coding to most forums (referred to as BBCode) so most formatting tags will work here.
