In other news, holy shit I can draw.

So Syrinoth and Stardragon have been encouraging me to learn how to draw after this incredibly awkward incident involving a book on sketching dragons that came into my possession... its a long story.

Anywho, I've been drawing here and there, every once in a while for a couple months. Definitely not practicing regularly (although I keep telling myself I should). I've discovered that I can't draw dragons worth a crap but I can draw pokemon (kinda sorta). Its having the reference art that really makes this possible. That, and the art style is rather simple and easy to recreate. So until I find something else I can draw, its gonna be all pokemon, all the time.

This is actually my first time drawing something on a tablet. I have to say without the resize tool and the undo button, drawing this picture would have literally killed me. Like, literally. My head would have just exploded or something. Then they'd wheel me into the morgue and the mortician would ask "how did he die?" and the assistant would whisper

"He tried to draw a Charmeleon. Without Photoshop"

"Dear God..."

I'm still at the stage where I have no fucking clue what I am doing so everything takes a long time because I'm just doing trial-and-error on what looks right and what doesn't. Case in point, the legs on this mofo took me FOR FUCKING EVER, and they still don't look right! Like seriously, I must have spent a good hour trying to get them to not look like completely misshapen and ugly blobs (speaking of which, your mom says hi! Doh ho ho ho ho....)

One of the hardest things I've run into so far is drawing the far side of a face. A perfect 2D profile perspective is fine. Any other angle and its just wat am I doing halp plz.

Also, I don't know how to draw fire. So there's that.

And no, I will not be drawing any Charmeleon penises and/or vaginas in the near future. I am sorry for the inconvenience/lack of boners.
