\n Collared Darkness, Pet’s longing
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n The collar I wear bears a sign
\n\n
\n\n That he will guide me until the end of time
\n\n
\n\n Now it seems this collar grows heavy
\n\n
\n\n And in my mind he will always tarry
\n\n
\n\n That wolf I call master
\n\n
\n\n Seems to be slipping faster
\n\n
\n\n From my grip
\n\n
\n\n I feel him slip
\n\n
\n\n Or is it I who has been plunged into the abyss
\n\n
\n\n Losing that firm paw, I cry for it to assist
\n\n
\n\n The darkness seems so close now
\n\n
\n\n His voice is fading and I do not know how
\n\n
\n\n To call him back to take this leash
\n\n
\n\n And walk me back into his reach
\n\n
\n\n Though he may not be my mate
\n\n
\n\n As his pet, I enjoy my fate
\n\n
\n\n Oh dear master hear my cry
\n\n
\n\n For your pet now in darkness does lie
\n\n
\n\n How I long for that warm embrace
\n\n
\n\n To once again feel that paw on my face
\n\n
\n\n Oh my master, hear my plea
\n\n
\n\n Come to me again and make the darkness flee
\n\n
\n\n I cry these tears of longing for
\n\n
\n\n That master I wear this collar for
