Emilia - Age 20
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Emilia is Dusk's daughter, who he raised on his own since she was only five years old. Emilia wasn't even aware of who her real father was at first. Her mother, a canine girl named Nicole, had had a three night fling with Dusk when she was only 18 and away from college on spring break. Unfortunately after getting back to college she discovered she was pregnant, but never managed to track him down again. She ended up having the baby, which by a 1 in 10 chance was of the Noaia race, rather than her own canine race. She named the baby girl Emilia, and raised her until she was five. Emilia had a rough first five years, with her mother having dropped out of college and working low wage jobs to survive, picking up and dropping boyfriends on a yearly basis. While Nicole did love her daughter, there was a resentment felt for her youth being stolen from her by Emilia's birth, and even more for Dusk who she had been the cause of it all. Emilia lived far below the poverty line, unable to make friends or pick up hobbies easily with how poor her family was, and how little her mother was available.
When Emilia was five her mother finally tracked down Dusk, who was living in New York City at the time and working as a personal trainer. Without notice, or even staying to face him again, she dropped Emilia at his doorstep and left. Dusk was forced to pick up the role of a single father and care for a daughter he had never even knew he had. It wasn't easy to suddenly be thrust into the role of fatherhood, and it was only with the help of Antonia that he managed to stay on his feet and raise his daughter into a girl he was proud of. She had her mother's eyes and hair, and his face and stubbornness, but was determined to make sure she didn't end up like he had been. That is, bitter and depressed, sleeping with others to cope with his problems and projecting a sarcastic and flirtatious shield around himself to hide it. With Antonia acting as an aunt to Emilia, and eventually as a sort of surrogate mother, the young child had two people who cared about her enough to even work on their own problems hard enough so that they could focus on being good influences on her.
By age 20 Emilia is the lead guitarist and singer in her own punk rock band, with a girlfriend who doubles as her drummer, attending college to study music. She's extremely close with her father, who considers her the best thing that he ever made of his life.
