After suffering some burnout and a bout of depression, I'm back to work. Getting back on the horse (pun intended) hasn't been easy. The worst part of burnout and depression is how it robs you of any sort of fulfillment you normally would get from being creative. You're just kind of there, waiting for the end, mechanically going through the motions and just not finding any joy in anything.
I'm working my way out of it, and have been since the beginning of the month, but I've been leap frogging from project to project because it's the only way I've been able to keep momentum and enthusiasm for work. It keeps me from thinking too much about negative things and keeps my mind interested in what I'm doing.

Page 3 of Wild Coast is pencilled. I just need to make the backgrounds in Sims and get to inking. Next page, we finally see the face of our protagonist! No, the whole comic wasn't going to be told in first person perspective. That would have been annoying. Also, isn't Tula disgustingly cute in that first panel? I just wanna smack her. And no, Ailani isn't a midget, Tula is 7 feet tall, just a bit shorter than giantess KJ who stands at 7' 8" (2.6 meters)
