"Hi!"
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This is the scene from "Family Tails" where Rosie meets Ron for the first time in the DFW airport.
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper.

Irish Proverb:
"When life hands an Irishman a bag of manure, he knows that there just has to be a horse around somewhere." :)
Well, after I had my near fatal heart attack on Friday, 13 Jan 2012, I went on medical leave for 6 months, then was promptly put into lay off, got to work a few days, then my former employer let a bunch of us go (including me)because of "not enough work for the forseeable future". Being that I live in a small town (<14,000) with only my own two legs for transportation, being over 40 (I'm 55), and have been out of work over 6 months (2 years), there's not much hope of getting a job here (many employers won't hire anyone over 40 or have been out of work for six months or more). It's supposed to get down to +6 F here tonight, so yeah, it's going to be no fun. I applied for energy assistance ("LIHEAP"), but first it got rejected due to the account with the util company being closed out, and then it was withdrawn until I could come up with $300 to pay towards the old bill. Well, haven't been able to do that yet, so...I am just having to tough out the cold with no lights or heat. The Salvation Army won't help much, only after others come up with something, then they'll apply $75 max.
One of my Navy buddies and I have been trying to come up with a way to move my tail up to Fairbanks, Alaska so that we can get a computer business going. Unfortunately, that hasn't worked out yet, and we're not getting any younger, but we keep trying. He's struggling, too, though not as bad off as I am at present. I'm hoping that I can get my "Family Tails" out in print soon and make enough off of it to at least help out. We'll see, though.
