I definitely agree on Waterways; I tried Out of Position about three times, but in all those times I could barely get past the first ten pages. I just felt no emotional connection to the characters at all, and the Sex was brought in way too quickly, and way too raunchily, before the reader had been given the chance to get to know Dev and Lee at all. Waterways, I think, did the whole Gay Relationship thing in a way that I related to a lot more personally; it built Kory and Samaki's love through shared experiences and personal struggles, making the sex scenes themselves far more genuine and relatable.
