???? Did I do it? Was that an enticing enough introduction to this description? Haha! As a Mexican, it's always interesting hearing "Felíz Navidad" on the radio, even on stations or in places that don't play any other language music than English (and I wonder how much longer that is going to persist...). However, in wanting to cover this song, I found it very repetitive, only as I had to work on it realizing there are only two parts to this song, the Spanish and English parts, and that goes on over and over ad infinitum. In an effort to switch things up, I researched other countries that celebrate Christmas and took the top results and used their language's translation of the lyrics in the song. I like German (thanks to Schnuffel Bunny), and my boyfriend has roots in Italy so those choices were slightly weighted, but French and Japanese were... largely unbiased.

???? Please, if you speak those languages, let me know how I did in pronouncing those lines as well as translating them. If you're new here (and are actually reading this), you will find I actually do A LOT of research in MANY of my songs. For this song, I didn't just translate the lines 1:1 in Google Translate, though that was involved, I also searched for the common phrases and translations of the phrases to ensure they were more accurate than the direct Google Translate translation. I hope EVERYONE enjoys this!
