I wake up
Turning my head as I usually do
Then I remember you aren't there anymore.
Despite the disasters
Denying the definite
Dodging the truth
I still want to feel your hugs again
Your lips pressed against mine
Through all the neglect I received and gave
Never had I thought it’d get this bad
83 days, and counting, (to this day)
Has it been since I've heard your voice
The last time I saw you
The last time I felt you
Nosing through the noiseless halls
The haunted corridors of my thought
I understand why I was so kind
And now with you gone, I can’t make up my mind.
