Here's another face that I haven't drawn for too long... and if it weren't for her desperately needing a new, up-to-date profile pic on SoFurry, I don't think I would have ever gotten to drawing her yet. Thanks for the pressure, Saphy. I forgot how gorgeous you are... I'm glad I did this. As usual, you turned out better than I'd hoped for. So, the magnificent creature above is Sapphire Stone. Most of you should remember her as she's been featured in my artworks many times in the distant past. She's been pretty much non-existent till now. Missing in action for an unknown reason. However, she's back... and bigger and better than ever before. How? Alright... I'm gonna spill the beans.

For those of you who remember her state of health the last time she was drawn, you'll recall that she wasn't doing very well. She was severely scarred both physically and emotionally from the countless battles she has fought. Recently, she suffered a fatal stab into her left ribs, piercing the bottom portion of her heart. The years of fighting valiantly had weakened her battered armor plating rendering it brittle. A run in with an intruding clan of nomadic vampires spelt her doom. A clan which her sister was the leader of. The two have never gotten along since their family was brutally attacked by the same clan, turning her sister in the process. Sapphire managed to escape with her grandparents. Such a fateful day was what drove her to become a fighter. She was the only Common Pangdillo to ever join Sector 1404's highest ranking guardians. She was found laying in a pool of her own blood with hardly a pulse, the butchered remains of her sister laying next to her. It was a fight till the end... With their only leader defeated, the clan retreated never to be seen again on Sector 1404 ground.

So, how is it that she still lives? Well, she may have had barely a pulse, but she was still salvageable. Thanks to a vampire Pangdillo friend of mine, her deadly fate changed. It took a lot of blood to replace what was lost, but we managed to pull it off. With the blood of a very old and powerful vampire flowing in her veins, she lives to see the rest of her days... bigger and stronger than she's ever been. But, she'll fight no more. With her sister gone, she has finally found inner peace. She can finally calm herself, knowing her family will now rest in peace.

I know you get lonely at times, Saphy. You can't bullshit me with that tough front you put up. Just know that you've got friends. We'll never know the struggles you've been through... but, we know you've been through a lot. Know that, Saphy. Hope you like this, cowgirl.
