I needed a tank that was more equine than the machines I could find on the net. I wanted something that was fast and manoeuvrable, as the species would require. But also taking a lot of hints from modern human off road machines. A fixed gun on a flexible undercarriage seemed ideal to fight a mech army. It isn't really in keeping with mlp cannon, but I think it does the job for the story "Tigger Tank".
