Walking paw in paw,
Tails swishing side to side
Down the sandy beach.
Lazy clouds drifting,
Painted by suns amber blaze.
Seas reflecting light.
Waters gentle touch,
Washing away our tracks.
A dog and wolf stroll.
Gazing over him,
His eyes shining bright and true.
Walking side by side
The dog of my dreams,
Showing what it means to love.
One step at a time.
Fixing what was wrong.
Mending what was hurting me.
He nudges my arm.
Caresses my paw.
Could this one really be true?
Is he right for me?
Pulling him close now,

Nuzzling his head,
