Tears Dry On Their Own (Amy Winehouse cover)
I recorded this cover a few days after Amy Winehouse's passing, following another cover I did of Back to Black, the album's title track. I had been a fan of hers since I was 13, and would routinely check up on news about her, in hopes that she was finally getting better, and that a third album would come out some day. Unfortunately, it seems an Amy Winehouse tribute album is the best I can hope for, since from what I understand, hardly any recording was done in the months leading up to her passing.
Also, fun fact, the backing music on this song is actually the tune for Ain't No Mountain High Enough. But you wouldn't really notice unless you removed the vocals.
