Her father, Lawrence Jenkins was known to have many mistresses yet he never married. It was believed he had nearly 80 children over his 74 years on Cerces IV. After his death Durango went through probably the largest paternity case in human history with nearly 350 individual cases presented. It was three years after his death, a document that was sealed and found by his attorney listed several of his offspring who were to his knowledge heir to his fortune. Of them Jennifer was specifically named to take over JVC.
