Roan Súilseabhac
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Roan is a humble man and quick to deflect complements to the original source of his knowledge on the topic. Friendly and easy to please- which is good, because he has the power to atomize you instantly with the snap of his fingers. Given the title of 'The Mortal God' by others, Roan has created both the Alkahest and the Philosopher's stone, allowing him to break down matter into its most basic components and re-assemble those atoms into whatever he wants. He was born of the crowndom of Tir Na Nog in the world of Terio Carn, though he has none of the avian features that the crowndom's citizens are known for. He has since moved to an extremely remote location nestled into the fringes of a frozen wasteland and erected his own castle- Springrave, which now houses its own village of servants who want for nothing- for their master can make anything they want from whatever they happen to have.
His parents were Morris and Fiadh of Tir Na Nog. Morris was a rather average mage and had the body of a naga. Roan had already surpassed his father's skill in magic by the time he was seven years old. His mother Fiadh was known as a wildling when she was younger because she would dart off into the wilderness at every chance she got and never played with the other children. She eventually slapped together her own cabin off in the wilderness and became an Alchemist, growing her own rare herbs in her remote home. Based on this alone you can tell that Roan took after his mother more. His mother continued to learn new tricks, always surprising Roan, preventing him from ever surpassing her while she still lived. Now over 100 years old and he doesn't look a day past 30, his parents are gone but he still holds his mother's memory with a degree of reverence. Try a 'your momma' joke around Roan and you might get shipped home as a statue.
