Hatches – Cinder
Hatches - named for the figure of speech, “down the hatch” is a series of swallowing pictures that feature a character, particularly one that the artist knows, and has them swallowing prey down into their stomachs. Working off of my encounters with these predators, the artist follows a similar position for each swallow.
Together we hope that the featured characters appreciate these small gifts and continue to swallow and dominate us.
