Short story:
With Aleus's five puppies, they played so much. Although one of the five who didn't want to play much and then did something a little stupid, while their babysitters - Nuk, Yak And Sumac, weren't paying attention, it was of course Dante. Dante is the model son of Aleus, though with two pairs of brown socks on his front legs and a small dot of brown on his chest. He very stubborn and brave.

And right now he's scouting for something intruding nearby, because he'd be more than happy to protect his siblings, while his big brother, Tier is out hunting the lesson with his father. Until Dante got a whiff in his nose and can smell someone who is nearby. His instincts tell him there might be an intruder nearby. He tracked that scent, until he found a furry dark blue tail sticking out of the bush.

Dante: "Imagine if it could be someone who wanted to hurt my siblings. Well, I'll take a chance."

Dante thought, biting and gripping the big furry tail his sharp teeth. But he would never have done that. Because he didn't know that the furry tail belongs to one of the sleeping babysitters. But when it feels how Dante bit really hard. Horrible roars were heard.

Yak: "OOOOOOOOUUUUCCHHH...!!!"

It was of course Yak who was sleeping inside the bush and he flies right up onto the tree branch and hit his skull and made him go dazed. After he landed on the ground hard and slowly sat up, he saw lots of stars and was quite dizzy. Dante who has already let go of his tail, he realized who it was and is in real trouble. And so it was, as soon as Yak recovered, Dante was chased. But Dante had just managed to escape in advance quickly and ran straight home to his siblings.

There Aleu lay on her big and favorite smooth stone, next to her both Nuk and Sumac stand, and they look too surprised, but Nuk understood that the scream is from Yak. When Dante has been hiding behind his four siblings and in front of his confused mother, Aleu, he didn't know if he will be scolded or not. But Aleu looked at Yak who was standing some distance away from the leader and was panting heavily and his tail ached a little. Until Aleu asked.

Aleu: "Yak, why did you chase Dante? And why did you scream so terribly loud?"

Yak: "That mischievous puppy...huff... bit my tail... huff... really hard."

Nuk came in between their conversations and asked to his friend.

Nuk: "Why would he do that? You've never messed with him, have you?"

Yak: "Well, I was sleeping inside the bush, because I wanted some peace and quiet after all the babysitting. I was just completely numb. And I must have had my tail outside the bush by mistake. But then I woke up to the terrible pain from Dante's bite. And I flew high up against the tree branch and hit my head. And saw lots of stars in the sky."

When he finished his explanation. Ended with all four pups, Nuk and Sumac giggling and laughing out loud at Yak's story and understanding how it all ties together. Even Aleu laughed a little quietly and thought it was funny.

Yak: "What are y'all laughing at? That wasn't funny!"

Sumac: "Oh yeah!? The one who mentioned, he squeezed."

Says Sumac a bit jokingly, but Nuk has just calmed down with everything laughed and says.

Nuk: "I don't think Dante did it on purpose, Yak. He was probably just scouting for some intruders nearby, of course."

Yak: "Yeah, but at least I'm not an intruder either!"

Yelled Yak and was completely upset. But Nuk calmed his friend down and thought it was time to leave Aleu's family, now that Aleu has returned from her wolf council meeting.

Nuk: "Yes, we're leaving you. But We'll see all you soon, leader."

Aleu: "You three sure do, Nuk. And thanks for looking after my pups."

Nuk: "Well, it was nothing. Let's go boys!"

Then all three big male wolves left. Yak was of course still angry, but he tries to tame his patience over anger. Nuk keeps his friend a little calmer as said. While Sumac just smirked at what Yak has been through.

Nuk: "Stop your mocking grin, Sumac."

Sumac: "I'm sorry. But I can't stop thinking of Yak's funny story."

Yak: "That's it. That's enough now, you bastard! Or do you also want to experience the same thing I got to experience?"

Yak stared at Sumac with his annoying glare. Even Nuk agrees with Yak and stared at the same thing. Sumac stopped at once.

Sumac: "Okey. I promise never to laugh for the rest of the day."

Yak: "Right! For this time."

Nuk: "That's right. Absolutely right."

But still, Sumac grinned for a while, as the three walked away. But everyone thought it was funny, except Dante. He was so terribly ashamed and even began to cry. His mother, Aleu picked up her son with her front paws and legs and holds him up looking at her son's sad eyes and tears running down his cheek.

Dante: "Forgive me, Mom. It was accident."

Aleu: "I know, my son. But can you tell us why you did it?"

Dante: "Because, I just wanted to protect my siblings from the encroaching foxes and weasels. I didn't mean to hurt uncle Yak's tail at all. I promise."

But Aleu recognizes the same situation that she has been through before before when she was the same age as Dante. She gave him licks on his cheeks and forehead and wiped his tears saying.

Aleu: "You needn't be sorry for that. You did it out of consideration, my son. But you must learn to think carefully first, before you make any hasty decision. And don't forget one more thing, Dante. If you wanted to protect your family, without harming the others who are probably on our side, and I think you will succeed one fine day. And I will always love you as you are, and also the bravest pup in the wolf pack."

After Aleu finished the sentence and wisdom, Dante became much better and happier.

Dante: "Thanks, Mom. I love you too."

Aleu picked Dante up even more, let him embrace his mother's soft fur breasts. He was indeed crying inside his mother's fur. He cried for joy at having such a kind and caring mother. Aleu comforted her beloved son and caressing her son's back with her left paw, gave him hugs and licks on his head. Even Balto, Atka, Eska and Aniu feel sorry for their brother's antics. But they were still delighted by their mother's talk and wisdom.

Balto: "Don't be sad, Dante. We like you, anyway."

Atka: "Yeah, you're not that useless either."

Eska: "Although you are rowdy, you are not so bad at all, my dear brother."

Aniu: "And no matter what happens, we will stand by your side."

Aleu smiled at her four beloved puppies and their honesty. Dante pulled his head away from his mother's fur chest and looked behind his shoulder looking at his siblings and questioningly.

Dante: "Are you all quite sure?"

Everyone nodded. And in the end, Dante calmed down a bit and was allowed to come down to his siblings who immediately gave him a big hug with him. All four at the same time. But after they hugged, Aleu told a surprise.

Aleu: "You, all five of my cubs, including Tier, will probably soon learn to look after the new siblings that will arrive in due course."

All five did not quite understand what Aleu meant by that. Till Eska asked her mother curiously.

Eska: "Which 'new siblings', Mom?"

Aleu laughed at Eska's question and explained what it is.

Aleu: "It was a surprise, my little ones. You will all be both big brothers and sisters to my new puppies I'm carrying."

When Aleu finished saying that and stepped down from the smooth stone, showing her pups how her belly has grown a little more. They finally understood what she meant. All five puppies cheered and screamed with happiness. They danced a circle around their mother. Aleu sat down and closed her eyes again, enjoying their joyous dance. All howling and singing together for a while. Until their father, Taku and their older brother, Tier have returned from the hunting lesson and their feed to the Alpha family.
