They always start to wiggle there at the end. Even the willing ones.

There are plenty of critters at the Tame Camp who will eat you if you ask them to. Stick your head in a lion's or hyena's mouth, or even a rhino's or elephant's mouth, and it will all end in a burp.

The reason the Very Friendly Cheetah is such a notorious predator there is she really, really wants to eat you, and she'll let you know. Nine times out of ten someone will push her away when she gapes over their face, and of the ones that don't, nine out of ten will do so when she swallows their head.

But when you make a good faith effort to swallow 15-20 people a week, even a 1% success rate means a surprising number of people disappear down a hundred-pound cheetah's gullet. It takes her a couple of days to digest someone and then a week to run off the resulting flab, and then she's right back at it again.

You can trust her all right. You can trust that she very much wants to eat you. And if you let her get far enough over you that she's in charge of the situation, she will.
