If the following offends you in any way please tell me so I know who to tell directly not to read what lines or what works of literature that I may submit. To those that take the time to read this entire rant, I apologize if it offends you in any way as that was not my intent at the time of writing the offending piece of writing. Also random :) hope you enjoy it!

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n NO MORE, NO MORE, NO MORE

\n

\n

\n

\n No more, no more, no more, I beg for this torture to end

\n

\n My final notes I have penned.

\n

\n Those who held me close I have betrayed

\n

\n Our ties have been stretched and frayed.

\n

\n You could not stand to have me near

\n

\n Once you discovered that I was queer.

\n

\n Your words cut me deep, your stare a knife in my heart

\n

\n From the anger and hurt I began to fall apart.

\n

\n I see no reason left to live

\n

\n For I have nothing left to give.

\n

\n I am empty deep inside

\n

\n And wish my heart’s desire I could hide.

\n

\n With the knife cutting deep

\n

\n This feeling I wish I could keep.

\n

\n From the wounds my blood does flow

\n

\n Whilst others gather round for the show.

\n

\n I beg and plead

\n

\n Let me find the peace I so desperately need.

\n

\n A pounding head

\n

\n A hospital bed.

\n

\n My life I failed to take

\n

\n All I can do is sit and shake.

\n

\n My hands to the rails are chained

\n

\n And my nerves shall remain strained.

\n

\n The room too bright

\n

\n My body a pitiful sight.

\n

\n Slowly the doctor enters

\n

\n And around him my hazy mind centers.

\n

\n So bright and full of cheer

\n

\n He asks me what I hold dear.

\n

\n I reply nothing to thus

\n

\n And so he begins to fuss.

\n

\n He says I have friends and family who love me for who I am

\n

\n I laugh at him till he leaves and closes the door with a slam.

\n

\n Day after day he tries to get me to speak

\n

\n And day after day I act timid and meek.

\n

\n He repeats that there is still hope

\n

\n While I ask for a tie made of rope.

\n

\n Of our talks I soon weary

\n

\n For he finds nothing dark and dreary.

\n

\n At last his words find their mark

\n

\n When he asks what happened at the park.

\n

\n Deep in shame I hide my head

\n

\n Until he sits upon my bed.

\n

\n He says he’s already heard and there’s someone he wants me to meet

\n

\n He says this person is quite the treat.

\n

\n Through my tears I agree

\n

\n This strange new person I shall see.

\n

\n The next morning he introduces us

\n

\n And upon seeing my body the boy began to cuss.

\n

\n Scars and cuts cover my body

\n

\n And his stares make me feel shoddy.

\n

\n Fearing the worst I begin to imagine a ride in a hearse

\n

\n When suddenly he begins to recite a verse.

\n

\n The words I know by heart

\n

\n The poem is mine I realize with a start.

\n

\n I had posted it on a site

\n

\n For a fox who promised not to bite.

\n

\n When he’s done I begin to breathe

\n

\n His gentle voice offering me a safe reprieve.

\n

\n Standing by the foot of my bed

\n

\n Is the one whose stories and words used to stay my dread.

\n

\n His gentle gaze adds to my shame

\n

\n For I realize that there is no one else to blame.

\n

\n I brought onto myself such suffering and pain

\n

\n As I never want to feel again.

\n

\n With a great heave the tears begin to flow

\n

\n While he hugs me, his feelings he’s not afraid to show.

\n

\n In my chest love does blossom

\n

\n While he compares me to a possum.

\n

\n He says my doctor is his father

\n

\n And I apologize for being such a bother.

\n

\n A deep friendship we soon make

\n

\n Now on life I have a new take.

\n

\n Deep into the night we sit and talk

\n

\n Of all the things we shall do once I'm free to walk.

\n

\n At last my day of freedom is here

\n

\n We had planned on a long walk by the pier.

\n

\n My joyous occasion is cut short

\n

\n When I hear the dreadful report.

\n

\n Left to die in a hit and run

\n

\n Without him I'll see no sun.

\n

\n The blade I push in deep

\n

\n As my lifeblood begins to weep.

\n

\n Around my body the blood  pools

\n

\n Whilst my corpse slowly cools.

\n

\n For the flames of Hell I brace

\n

\n Only to open my eyes before the gates of Heaven in my true loves embrace.

\n

\n For all eternity we shall live

\n

\n And to each other our whole hearts we shall give.
