Virginia Zoo, eh? I'm on the southeastern tip of North Carolina, but I may just take a trip up there to see the Fennecs just because you said something. =3
As for more works, the only reason I've not put more stuff up is because of a slight lack of inspiration. I don't know what I want to draw. I pick up magazines and stuff and skim through them, trying to find canines that just inspire me to want to draw them, but lately nothing has really jumped out. I was going to do a German Shepherd, another Border Collie, a red fox, and an arctic fox (with the summer coat), but I've just had no real drive to start any of them.

Hard to tell with their less-than-great map, but the Fennec were in the African exhibit. The new Trail of the Tiger is supposed to be really nice.

For canines, one of my favorites that is little known but quite beautiful is the Ethiopian Wolf. Some photos can be found at:

I did a drawing of an Ethiopian wolf way back when, and I have no idea what happened to it! But they are so adorable, they look like little foxy wolves (even though that's not possible. XD). If I remember correctly, they were on the verge of extinction, right? May still be, I think, but I believe I remember hearing something about efforts to repopulate them. But that was some time ago, so I'm not quite sure.

They are still endangered. They have the twin problems of feral dogs attacking them and rabies as well as habitat loss. They are getting some help, though.
