Size ratios and proportional strength, man. Gravity's a bitch.
Hell, if dragons were real, and if they were truly capable of powered flight, the physical limitations due to earth's gravity and body-surface-area-to-volume ratios would greatly limit their size anyway.... I'll estimate somewhere around smaller than humans. The largest ancient pterosaurs had a chest/torso about the size of an entire human, but they have 2 less limbs and a body that is FAR more efficiently designed for flight (the most popular conceptions of dragons are definitely not the most aerodynamic).

I'm extrapolating weight and agility from known behavior. They can fly with practically-sized wings, ergo they do not weigh that much effectively, for whatever reason (I don't know why and won't ask). Given that, climbing seems pretty simple in comparison.
