After ingesting some bio-hazardous liquid from a damaged container in the escape pod, Lukas becomes aquaticized when the pod fills with sea water. That means his suit merges with his body, and becomes his new skin, he looses his heels to make better fins, and also adapts the ability to breath underwater.
