This piece is a little more personal to me..

I took a big step for myself during the vacation i take every year at the end of May. Froogle92 made a comment a few months before about going to a small furry con at the same time as my vacation. So in a totally uncharacteristic moment I just told myself "fuck it. i'll go!"

And I'm glad I did! I traveled most of the way across the country (i'm in oregon i'm a long ways from everything interesting) with only a couple hickups along the way. And got to meet some wonderful and very welcoming people. I spent most of my time hanging out with FA Froogle92 and riding around in their fancy Firebird car. But I also met tobiasGSD and Amurblacktiger and had a lot of fun going to dinner and watching movies at their place.

At this point in time i'm seriously hoping i'll be able to make all the arrangements to go again next year!
