that was kind of my idea with a fox deciding to walk home barefoot through the trail on the forest instead of take the bus, his work boots over a shoulder and his groceries in a paper bag he is holding, (he works at a grocery store all night) anyway he steps on a stick breaking it which startles the werewolf cyborg (the focus of that story) to be surprised.

I got hung up on the way I wanted to show the stick breaking from the ground perspective or belt level were most of my picture's focus in.

I hate having to draw backgrounds too.
