And it could be a noble-winner too.
Anyway, this is where I just write dumb stuff. So, let's say... yeah. This kid steals a journal from some other kid he doesn't know because he got into the wrong locker. Still, this kid likes to collect souvenirs from his accidental exploits, and he also likes to read, so he takes a piece of literature, and watches in amusement as the journals owner runs around screaming that his life is over.
Unfortunately, all of the "life-ending" tidbits are less legible than the scratches on the door from the day he forced his cat to adopt an outdoor lifestyle. Older sister, Garland, deemed them so. She likes to look for hidden meanings in places where there are none. He has to hide it from her, sure that she's going to steal the hidden mastery within.
She finds him out, but looking through the journal, laughs at him. There's nothing of value there, no hidden messages, no nothing.
