So, I'm going to be going to UMKC next year. Woot! And since I had been considering making a new character anyway, and kangaroos are one of my favorite animals, I thought I might as well show team spirit and make an anthro of my school's mascot species! This is Iridus, the name a bastardized masculine form of the (Greek?) Goddess of Prisms and Rainbows, Iris. (The latter affiliation came from a thought I had the moment one of the LGBT groups on the UMKC campus, the "Rainbow Roos," was mentioned, lol.) This is just the starting sketch I made - I'm going to put up a colored version in just a minute.
