Jasper dragged his feet down the dark road. A flickering lamp light illuminated his tall, lanky figure. All was quiet, only one house on the street seemed to have any lights on. He sighed. He hated the silence. But he felt that he wasn't exactly alone. Suddenly, a sinister whisper came from behind him. "Jasper.." The disembodied voice called to him.
