This was quite an important piece since it was done for a soldier as a celebration on his hon. discharge from the US forces (from the 1st Cav Division nonetheless). He is in his service vehicle, the Bradley M3 and he's taking a little break, smoking a cigarette and enjoying the pleasant sunny day. Even though a lot of these military pieces I draw feature conflict and powerful war machines I'm still drawn to this quiet, peaceful aesthetic - because after all, peace is the end goal of every war. And the contrast between the two works pretty well!
