Same look I get from my cat when I get home from work. She wakes up, makes sure it's me, then yawns and goes back to sleep. I somehow get the feeling that she's not too impressed with people. :)

"People" are limited to cats. You are wait staff and housecleaning! LOL

Having said that, I still overall enjoyed my time with her. Some issues, but overall okay.

You forgot 'entertainer' and 'warm lap to sleep on.':) It's always nice to be useful.

Yes, but to be fair, cats do work as well. Alarm clock, shredder, bird census taker, organic herbicide, etc. A kitty's life can indeed be hard!
