A weird parody of Caravaggio's 'The Cardsharps'.
I've always like the idea of doing a parody but making the characters modern instead of period. I really only made this because I've had super bad artist's block recently and so I started sketching to see if I could break my funk, and this is the result.
Fahari said the whippet should be wearing plaid and I hated every moment of it, but it looks good, I think.
I have pretty mixed feelings about it, putting it kindly. But, realistically...you can't do a parody of Caravaggio or any old master without feeling horrible about yourself, so there's that.
I do like the cat's top-knot tho. Small victories.
