The story behind this one is that Delilah is serving undercover as man in the Confederate Army - the baggier clothes of the Zouave uniform making it easier for her to hide her feminine features.
Originally raised as a part of the French Army in North Africa, Zouave Regiments were raised on both sides of the Civil War and are certainly one of the more colorful and interesting parts of its history.
