Fursuiting for Charity as Scraps!
On Friday, February 20th, I went fursuiting for charity again as Scraps the Dog in the neighborhood and nearby plaza! I was able to make so many people smile again and I was also able to hand out some chocolates! I didn't just make people smile by handing out treats but also by simple and friendly gestures such as wishing someone a good day or by waving at them! There were quite some wholesome moments and interactions! One moment in particular was with a mail delivery man and he was completely surprised that someone was willing to give him something, and just show him kindness. He was so positively amazed and got really excited and literally went "FOR ME!?" He was very, very happy and I was also very happy that I was able to truly make this man's day! Such a small little thing really meant a lot to this person and he felt seen!! He had such a big smile and it really made him happy! I also visited the store where I'm always allowed to drop off the donation box so people who are willing and able to can donate to the charity I'm fursuiting for and the two store owners were super happy to see me again! Two huge smiles and one of them wanted a chocolate as well and we even talked for a bit too! I also came across a lady walking her dog and she also wanted a chocolate as well as an elderly couple who wanted a chocolate too and they told us they were on the donation list of the charity and are happy to support them! How cool is that?! While not many people wanted a chocolate, it didn't matter because I was still able to make those people smile too! And that's why I personally love to fursuit! To bring joy, smiles, and happiness to others and to create and share these wholesome moments! <3
