Lauren - South Korean Flag
So when thedrafthorse announced she was doing flags I decided I wanted two that represented who I am. This is the first, the flag of South Korea. 38 years ago my parents adopted me from my birth family who could not afford to keep me, forever changing the direction my life would take. I don't know who I'd be if I was there rather than here, but even though I've never felt particularly close to my homeland it is still a part of me and a place I hope to visit one day before I die. If my parents are there, it would be nice to meet them at least once.
Anyway, I've always liked the colors and design of the South Korean flag, so here it is for all of you to enjoy.
