CHAPTER 1 - Fated Bounty's Bouncer

Fated Bounty’s Bouncer

It was a usual night at the Fated Bounty located in the city of Kolok, drinks being served as the strippers performed in the background. To those that always hung around with the establishment would always see two people, a husky and a tiger. The famous and infamous one was the tiger, infamous for his aggressive behavior as a patron in the past, but famous now as a loyal employee that enjoys talking with the patrons he serves. His name was Samson Drive, a tiger that lost both of his eyes from a gang infighting, mostly everyone calls him Sam for short. Tonight he’s just wearing his usual attire at work, a black, unbuttoned tailcoat with a black speedo as his necklace with an angel wing shines under the light.

In the corner of his eye, he witnessed some burly rhino aggressively harassing one of the new recruits, a ruby-colored wolf wearing half a mask that hid burnt scars. A friend’s friend being messed with for his looks, his uneven, mismatched red fur he’s grown for years to cover his burnt scars. Though he was calmly handling it as just a tease, the tiger noticed the little body tells of the uneasiness the wolf was feeling. It got a bit too much once the rhino started reaching out to grab the wolf’s mask off, causing a bit of a scene.

Without hesitation, Sam delivered his drinks before heading straight to the rhino, tapping his shoulder. He was brushed off immediately as the rhino looked back before continuing his harassment towards the staff. He tried again, firmly gripping to the rhino’s shoulder, a strong grip that left indents on the aggressive mammal. “Let’s take this outside,” the annoyed tiger with glowing red robotic eyes firmly said as he fully grabbed and tossed the aggressive patron outside.

“You going to be ok out there Sam,” the husky inside worriedly yelled out.

“Yep, this will only take a moment,” Sam replied. He took out a small black cube device, pressing a button before flicking it into the air. The device itself instantly creates a barrier around him and the patron. Sam’s Eyes switched to a purple color as he pulled out a pistol from his tailcoat. “Let’s make this simple for the both of us, leave now and you won’t get hurt,” Sam threatened the man, pointing a gun at him.

“I’ve seen your tricks tiger,” the large rhino snapped back, “that’s not a real gun. That’s just a squirt gun.” Silence emerged between the two before the rhino chuckled, “right?”

The tiger sighed, “you got me, this gun isn’t real,” he tossed the pistol away, letting it fire a squirt of water as it hit the ground. The rhino, distracted as he watched the water gun, was promptly decked in the face. “But I am serious on harming you so get up and swing at me,” the tiger taunted as he took out his brass knuckles after throwing his tailcoat to hang around nearby. The cold night wind brushed the tiger’s strands of fur as he stood there in only his black speedo as his robotic eyes glowed an even fiercer red.

The rhino gets up, his red Eyes staring back at Sam’s red eyes, taunting, “you sure you want to fight in that get up? You’re going to get cold by barely wearing anything out here.” He was soon given a swift roundhouse kick across the face, forcing the big rhino down once again.

“Of course,” Sam answered, “though I’ve done this song and dance before. If it makes people like you give me more chances, I’ll gladly do it again.” Sam got a nice bit of a stretch, bending over to give some onlookers a nice, provocative tease before continuing, “now, if you don’t want more hits to your delicate face, either scram or fight back. I’m going to have new customers to serve and we’re wasting time.”

When the rhino got up, he immediately charged the tiger, trying to ram the tiger into the wall. Mostly caring about the barrier not being destroyed, Sam quickly dodged, tripping the rhino’s feet in the process. Catching himself before falling, the rhino gets up to swiftly attack Sam with his fist. Both men exchanged blows, some missing, and most were hitting. It was mostly a one-sided beat down as Sam gave some powerful punches to his opponent. Without any warning Sam immediately pushed the rhino on his back before sitting atop of the big guy. “You want to surrender now, it’s clear that you’re losing. Last chance,” Sam declared as he could feel the rhino squirming under him.

A minute passed as no answer was given, but a struggle. “Alright, you had the chance,” the tiger sighed as he looked at the black box, “BRIC. (Barrier Rules & Item Creation) Create item: collar. Rule: strip only.” The box hovering above the two emitted a blue light as a collar appeared in Sam’s hand. Without a second to waste, Sam placed the collar around the rhino, the big man not knowing why. “If you will not surrender,” Sam ordered, his artificial eyes changing to a crimson red color, “then you will submit!”

Sam proceeded to punch down hard on his opponent’s head, each punch creating a tear of their clothes instead of a bruise. It started with a small tear in the shirt, then it slowly grew to a big hole, and then the shirt was no more. By the time the rhino realized what was happening, he could only watch in fear as the tiger was stripping him down to the bone with every punch that landed. “S-Stop,” the man yelled, blushing under these circumstances, “I surrender! Just don’t leave me naked here!”

Sam could only sigh as he got off the rhino in his briefs, helping him get up. “Fine,” Sam reluctantly agreed, “you better behave next time.” He walked over towards the big lad, and slapped his ass, unraveling and destroying the briefs to nothing and the collar fades away. The burly rhino immediately blushed as he covered his privates, Sam commanded, “or you’ll be walking home naked next time. Now come inside, apologize to my coworker and I’ll get your clothes back.” He gave the rhino one final spank, motivating the embarrassed lad to quickly go in while the tiger caught his black box that fell from the sky.

“Well the test was a success,” Sam noted after letting out a chuckle, “I wonder if the professor would let me keep this toy.” After confirming the box is off, he flicks it in the air multiple times, catching it, “though I’m sure if I do another favor, I can keep it. I’ll probably bring Mal along just in case we go somewhere dangerous.” After checking that everything was cleaned up, putting his tailcoat on before going back to the club. After ensuring that the rhino apologized enough to the staff, Sam led the naked man backstage. “Alright, that’s enough for you tonight. Now when you get your clothes back, leave. Next time I see you here, you better behave yourself.”

“Yes sir,” the rhino murmured in defeat.

“Good,” the tiger of black stripes said, “replicate.” Snapping his fingers, the man’s lost clothes materialized in thin air as it gently floated down on top of the rhino’s horn. He watched the man get changed and escorted them out of the place before heading over to check on the ruby wolf that was on break. “How you doing now, Aries? Sorry that you had to deal with all that when you just came back to town. ”

“I-It’s fine, I’m used to it, I know I don’t look as flattering compared to everyone else here,” the wolf truthfully spilled, “but thank you for looking for me, it was starting to get uncomfortable back there.” He looked at the tiger’s artificial eyes, wondering, “did you have trouble with people with those eyes?”

“Yeah, was taunted a lot for how weak I was since my magic isn’t as strong as it was before. I don’t hear much about them here nowadays, probably because people saw me fight before both here and in the colosseum.” He soon patted the young wolf on the head, delicately making sure the mask wouldn't fall off in the process.

“Despite what you say about yourself, I think you are a handsome wolf,” the tiger assured him, hugging his uneasiness away. “You could’ve chosen to be a regular patron when you came here, wearing your cloak and all, but you applied for a job here instead. You were ready to show off your body, scars and all, to everyone that comes here, you’re very brave for that and that is very sexy of you!” The ruby wolf’s face flushed from the compliment as the tiger squeezed him affectionately before shouting, “so show those people your sexiness! You’re Aries Ashton, future colosseum champion, and you can do anything!”

“H-Hey d-don’t need to be so loud,” the wolf pleaded quickly regaining his composure, smiling at his coworker. “Thanks though, I really needed it.” He hugged the tiger back before parting, unbuttoning the vest that hid his scars and uneven red fur. “Let’s get back to work, shall we? I feel much better now.”

“Of course, go get 'em kid!” The tiger watched the little wolf going back to the lounge area, then followed, staying close to him to get the regulars to know the recruit better.

When it was time for closing Bullet took the tiger aside for a private chat. “How are you feeling Sam,” the husky asked as he examined him for any bruises, “did that invention worked for you?”

“Of course” Sam answered as he showed the black cube, “this barrier-maker-thingy is pretty useful.” He gives the husky a chuckle as he later stated, “we can finally start going all out on each other when we go to your gym.”

“Though fun as that sounds, I think K would have a heart attack if he saw us attacking each other with magic,” Bullet chuckled as he patted the tiger’s shoulder. “We are totally going to do that though. Makes our fights more exciting if we’re allowed to throw some fire without burning the house down.”

“Indeed,” Sam agreed, “though I’m just borrowing the professor’s invention for now. I’ll probably do him another favor to keep it, so I might be busy sometime next week to take care of it with my hubby.”

“That’s fine,” Bullet consented, “I’ll ask one of our friends if they can cover for you. I know Zero asked me about the job before we got Ace and Snow.”

Sam’s curiosity piqued as the name of a clone was mentioned, speculated, “so the blue detective wants to work here now? Can’t blame him though, our original isn’t the best at managing money. Just the other day he asked Zero for money again to buy a collector’s edition of some game.”

“Oh really,” Bullet asked as the two began to converse as they cleaned up the mess that was left behind. When the place was cleaned up for the next night, Sam waved his coworkers farewell and headed home.

Going to bed immediately, he would see his white, bandaged, sleeping wolf on his sides, the edge of the top of the blanket resting on his thigh. Quietly before stepping into bed, he checks the back of the wolf, seeing the same large scar as bits of fur started growing back. Smiling warmly, he gets in bed as he covers both the wolf and himself with the blanket before kissing him on the snout. “I love you Mal,” Sam whispered as he gave the sleeping wolf a warm embrace.
