Daisy Daugherty at age 18
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
From my novel series, "Daggers of Darkness":
Here's Daisy Daugherty, the daughter of Poppy Daugherty who is a cousin of Captain James Daugherty, when Daisy is at age 18.
Here's the first drawing of her momma...
:link727531:
Since Poppy has enough human in her to have a more human-like face, Daisy also has similar facial characteristics.
I drew this using a mechanical pencil with HB lead, colored pencils, ink pens, various bending and shading tools, on Georgia-Pacific's "Everyday Copy & Print" paper. Text added using Micro$oft Paint.

Well done!
I guess it helps knowing something about anatomy, watching those forensic anthropologists who can recreate someone's looks just from studying their skull, and figuring out what would likely be a natural blend of features if such a hybrid could exist in our reality. I don't want to draw a human and then just stick on some ears or a tail from some critter because that just doesn't look right, in my opinion.
Anyway, yeah, she's still a rather nice looking skunk G.E.L.F. who just happens to have enough human in her to have a noticeable effect on her facial features. :) The "boots" I modeled after some high-heeled shoes that I saw on a Ukrainian woman, believe it or not. :P The women of Ukraine have some decidedly different footwear styles than here in the U.S.. O.o
That's just on 8.5"x11" paper...if I used some larger paper, say 17"x22", and scaled to fit that size, I could get much better detail/realism...but then trying to get such a large drawing scanned would be a challenge.
Do you do art trades? Just asking.~
Occasionally, yes. I've done one recently with a local artist/author -- here's the links to them:

I drew her a mouse fursona and she made hers using one of my bat characters as a model. :)
Hmm I was wondering if it's not too much trouble, would it be ok if we did one? I mean you can browse my artwork and see if I'm up to your level of skill to do one with you hehe. ^.^' I do traditional art, but it's gradually improving.~ :-)

On the subject of an art trade, let me know via a PM what you have in mind. :)
Oooh that looks great! That's a very nice piece there! :D
And yes that'd be great! I'll try to be on here more next week so we can discuss it further.~ :)
