Love her design and I'm surprised a blue-ringed octopus cecaelia hasn't been posted here until now. I have to ask: why would she need a knife when her venom can kill a human in a matter of minutes? The stuff is 1,000 times more potent than hydrogen cyanide.

I think it's because the client liked a sticker they had of an tiny regular blue ringed octopus with a knife and wanted their OC with it.

Fair point—not everyone knows how lethal a blue-ringed octopus is but the knife carries a universal meaning.
