This drawing was the answer to one of the monthly challenges made by a Deviant named "pinkythepink". In this case the challenge was entitled "Equines", a fancy word for "horses".
The first thing I thought of was the classic Ford Mustang logo, but I can't draw a normal horse. I found out the MLP-style horses were easier to draw.
This pony's two colors represent the two Mustangs my mother had. The gold represents a 1965 hardtop which ran like a dream until someone she loaned the car to ran it into a tree. The red represents a 1968 hardtop which didn't run worth a "you-know-what". From that moment on, she created thee term "Mustake".
