Acrylic inks are inks based on acrylics. They're very liquid and half transparent. :)
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your ark kit, as for which materials to buy ... hm ... that's really hard to say! Everyone can handle different materials best, so you really should decide what media you are best with. If you've already something particular in mind like ink pens, then I can give you hints which brands are offering the best materials. :)

Sure, that would be great. the stuff that I don't post on this site is usually black and white cross hatch ink drawings. sometimes portraits of my friends, or symbols, like my celtic BTD logo. I would like to be able to fade black and white. I've seen a guy in a tattoo shop use a special marker to fade one color into another, and it looks awesome. I don't mean to bother you, but what would you suggest?

Well, if it's simple cross hatching with ink, I'd suggest ink pens like Pitt Artist Pens from Faber Castell or Copic Multiliner. The most important thing about an ink pen is that the ink needs to be waterproof.
Fading one color into another? Well, the special marker might be a Copic Marker or a Tria Marker. They're alcohol-based markers and not really cheap, but they're worth their money. I'm using those, too. :)
It might take some time to figure them out how to use them correctly.
I'd suggest you're first just going to buy some Copic Ciao Markers (the little cheaper alternative to Copic Markers) to test them out and see if they work for you and your purposes. Those are not refillable like Copic Markers or Copic Sketch Markers but they're cheaper and use the same "ink". :)

oh, I spent lots and lots of money. I got a pretty respectable art box going. I bought the stuff you told me to buy and I really enjoy drawing that way. I draw whenever I have free time. Also my girlfriend dropped my computer so I cant draw with that anymore. Thanks again for your advice you really helped my art, and inspired me a great deal. I hope I can be as good as you some day.
