Meredith by Cybercat
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Done by Cybercat (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/cybercat) during a livestream session. Given that Cybercat's art was the original inspiration for Meredith way back in the day, I'm so pleased I could get something from her of the character.
It seems Meredith has picked up upon the trail of something that is decidedly unusual. Though the monsters the villagers speak of in the night by and large do not exist, sometimes spirit activity can warp and distort animal features in subtle ways, especially in the deeper woods where the boundary between flesh and spirit is weaker. Most would not know what to think upon finding small distortions in a paw or hoof print, and, indeed, sometimes they are nothing. Other times, though, they are important clues to a rogue spirit inhabiting an animal's body for it's own agenda, something that can be decidedly unhealthy to other denizens of the flesh. Those like Meredith are often the only ones able to understand and effectively combat such creatures. Even then, hunting them can be dangerous...
