[REPOST] Inhuman Illustrated | Chapter 01 strip <sup>[updated]</sup>

Chapter 01 illustration: NC-R3 Chartraine cruising at nighttime
Sketched, inked & colored in PaintTool SAI | Tools: Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch tablet
This is the chapter strip (a narrow illustration placed at the start of each new chapter) for Chapter 01: 'Escape and Arrival' of Inhuman, giving the reader a first peek at the NC-R3 Chartraine, aboard which the story kicks off. (To make it totally realistic, I would've had to make the hull completely dark, but I wanted the reader/viewer to have some idea of what they were seeing, so I cheated reality a little bit. I'm sure the universe won't complain ...
In case you're curious, here's a quick little reference of the Chartraine I drew up in MS Paint (it's crude and just meant as a general guide):

If it looks a little too similar to a modern-day cruise ship, I explain that based on A) my own lack of experience and creativity in drawing spaceships, B) the fact that I spent years drawing cruise ships for fun (I originally wanted to be a cruise ship architect) and C) New Corinthean spacecraft are usually designed to be able to withstand a water landing in times of emergency. So, there.
