Sarina RD Portrait 2017 CGHQ
About this image: it started as a practice sketch I made back an January that I decided to finish as portrait. Unfortunately I made a critical mistake with this one. The castle in the background along with the bushes appear flatter then they should be. in the castle's case it's due to the angle it's drawn at. Since I did all of the rendering by brush on one layer with some touch up to the separate flat-color layers using Gimp's Alpha Channel Lock. I'd have to over paint to change it. decided to accept the mistake and just finish this up as much as possible. I still need to work on practicing and studying ambient lighting more. thought for now I'm still just re learning and practicing the basics for anatomy and gesture.
